Peer Review Process

General rules: This journal, J Regen Dev, employs double-blind review system, where the identities of the reviewers remain confidential to the authors. Manuscripts are evaluated by reviewers who possess relevant expertise and knowledge in the subject area of the submission. The editorial board makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection based on the reviewers’ evaluations. In cases of rejection, authors will be informed of the review outcomes and reasons, but no further correspondence between authors and editors regarding the rejection will be conducted.

 

This journal requires that all submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the scientific quality and integrity of the manuscripts. The steps involved in this process are as follows:

1.          Manuscript Submission: Authors submit their research manuscripts to the journal for consideration and review.

2.        Section Editor Assignment: The editor-in-chief appoints a section editor with expertise in the relevant field to manage the review process of the manuscript.

3.         Initial Screening: The section editor conducts a preliminary assessment to verify that the manuscript meets the journal’s basic requirements. This includes evaluating the alignment of the topic with the journal’s scope, checking word count compliance, ensuring originality by screening for plagiarism, reviewing reference quality, and assessing formatting and language standards.

4.        Reviewer Selection: If the manuscript passes the initial screening, the section editor selects at least two reviewers who have the appropriate expertise to evaluate the content thoroughly.

5.         Reviewer Evaluation: The assigned reviewers critically assess the manuscript’s scientific quality, originality, methodology, and conclusions. They submit detailed reports containing comments, suggestions, and concerns to the section editor.

6.        Feedback to Authors: The section editor communicates the reviewers’ feedback to the authors, sharing all comments and recommendations that need to be addressed.

7.        Revision: When revisions are necessary, authors are given a designated timeframe (typically up to one month, unless otherwise specified) to revise and resubmit their manuscript. Manuscripts may be declined if authors fail to respond within the given period.

8.        Re-review (If Applicable): The section editor may decide to have the revised manuscript re-evaluated either by the original reviewers or by new reviewers to ensure the revisions adequately address the previous concerns.

9.        Final Decision: Taking into account the reviewers’ input and the revised manuscript, the editor-in-chief makes the final publication decision.

10.     Production Stage: Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the production phase, which includes final formatting, proofreading, and preparation for publication.
